Symphony Gives Back

At Symphony Homes, we are proud to be involved with several organizations who give back to our community.

The Other Side Village

Symphony Homes is proud to partner with The Other Side Village, an innovative community initiative working to end chronic homelessness in Utah. This inspiring project provides permanent housing with built-in support systems designed to foster integrity, stability, and human connection.

As part of this effort, Symphony Homes is building a duplex home for two future residents and coordinating donations from our valued trade partners and vendors. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of a project that is changing lives—one home, and one heart, at a time.

Employee Service Projects

For our most recent employee service project, the Symphony Team assembled backpacks filled with essential items for homeless youth in Utah, which we donated to the Volunteers of America Youth Resource Center. Volunteers of America, Utah's Youth Resource Center is a drop-in resource center and emergency shelter for all youth aged 15 to 22 experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness.

Symphony Homes partners with several organizations and we are honored to support their efforts to give back to the community.

Fisher House SLC

Fisher House provides a place for families to stay, free of charge, while their loved one is receiving medical treatment. Because veterans often travel long distances in order to receive medical care at the Salt Lake VA, the Fisher House will continue to fulfill a critical need in a vast geographical area that is highly rural. Veterans and their families can enjoy a spectacular view of the Wasatch Mountains while they are in a comfortable environment that offers hope, community, and healing.

Symphony Homes has had the privilege to volunteer at Fisher House for several years, providing and preparing meals for the families who are staying there.

HomeAid Utah

HomeAid Utah is a local affiliate of HomeAid. They attack the reality of homelessness with a unique and collaborative approach. Through housing development and community engagement, their mission is to help those experiencing homelessness to build new lives.

For the last 5 years, HomeAid Utah has hosted a Diaper Drive to support the Utah Diaper Bank. Each year they have proudly been named the largest annual donor, with each year’s donations surpassing the previous year.

At Symphony Homes, we were honored to be a sponsor at this event and participate as volunteers to count donations. The diaper drive in 2023 raised 760,957 Diapers, 46,912 Wipes, and 373 oz of Formula. In 2024 it raised over 1 million diapers!

Volunteers of America - Utah

Volunteers of America, Utah provides community-supported paths for those who are vulnerable to improve their lives and increase their self-reliance.

They are a human services nonprofit organization with over 300 paid staff who serve more than 7,000 people across the state each year through programs addressing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, and domestic violence. Thousands of volunteers and partners join with us to accomplish our mission to reach and lift those in greatest need.
