Sonata – Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes

As a Utah home builder Symphony Homes feel that it is important to showcase some of the magnificent homes they build every year. This year they decided to put 3 different home in the 2015 Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes. They were located in Farmington at their Chestnut Farms community, in Kaysville at their Sunset Equestrian community and also in Layton at their Pinehurst Place community. KSL decided to do an interview in their Sunset Equestrian house so, make sure to check it out HERE.

This week we will highlight the Sonata in Farmington, at their Chestnut Farms community. They were so proud of this house that after the parade was over they decided to make it their next model home in Chestnut Farms. Let’s get into the details of the house. First, the house is a rambler, which means that there is a main level as well as a basement. It has a craftsman style exterior, which means it utilizes painted hardie siding as well as stone. Its full gable style roof is something that makes it extremely unique to their collection. Like all of their homes it has been modified from its original base plan, in order to showcase some of the custom options available. Let’s get into some of the features. First, the house has a large 3-car garage that can be used for traditional purposes such as housing your car, or a nontraditional purpose, like a workshop or play area for kids. On the main floor there is a grand master suite with a separate sitting area that allows parents to relax and read in comfort. In the elaborate master bathroom there is a grandeur walk-in shower, his/her closets, as well as his/her vanities. The main floor utilizes open space very efficiently, which allows for maximum usable space and permits for a very large family room. This floor has a custom built mudroom that has two separate benches complemented by 6 individual lockers. In the basement there is a large game room and lots of storage space, and is accompanied by 3 different bedrooms, as well as a bathroom for the kids. This home won 6 different awards including Best Master Suite, Best Special Features, Best Floor Plan, Best Interior Design, Best Landscaping, and most importantly Best in Class!
